This project is closely related to the other New York Naturalization project, except this one focuses on petitions for naturalization filed in courts in New York City itself.

The cards themselves look different from those in the New York Naturalization collection, but the basic information is the same. One thing to watch for though, is that sometimes the nationality is recorded on the back of the card.

Because these cards are so standard and the handwriting is not difficult to read, I would give this project a difficulty rating of 1. Anyone can feel comfortable participating in this project.
